The Cosmetology Curriculum requires a total of 2100 hours of extensive hands-on training, mainly in the Junior-Senior portion of your studies. Upon completion of the course you will be prepared to take the state board examination to become licensed as a cosmetologist. Training normally requires 13 months to complete without any significant absences. |

Freshman Course of Study |
|
|
The Freshman Course of study consists of 300 hours of training. This course is a combination of classroom lectures and classroom practice of basic skills. Skill development is stressed prior to assignment to the clinic floor as Juniors and Seniors. The following subject areas are covered: |

Junior-Senior Course of Study |
|
|
The Junior-Senior Course of study consists of 1800 hours of training. The course begins following successful completion of the Freshman course. The course of study continues with classroom lectures and classroom practice of skills. The student will also begin applying their learned skills on clients, this is actual "hands-on" training on real clients. Areas of study will include those subjects from the Freshman Course as well as these additional subjects: |
